Outsource Support Awarded Lantra Pest Management Trained Professional Users Accreditation.

Since January 2018, there are specific legal requirements on all professional pest control companies in Ireland to ensure the safe use of pesticides and rodenticide products. National regulations set out by the Pesticide Control Division (PCD) of the Department of Agriculture Food, and the Marine (DAFM) are in place to meet the EU Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR).

Uncontrolled or unprofessional outdoor use of rodenticide products and other biocide products around buildings can have detrimental health effects on small mammals and bird wildlife resulting from rat poison.

Controlling the presence of common pest infestations is essential to hygiene and human health. Professional pest control services must hold recognised qualifications such as Lantra to ensure the safe management of pests in Ireland.

Outsource Support is a registered Pest Control Specialist with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.

Outsource Support pest control operators are trained professionals registered as Pest Management Trained Professional Users (PMUs) and CRRU/IASIS Wildlife Aware Accredited as required by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM).

Account manager for Outsource Support Pest Control Division, Barry Eccles, recently received the Lantra Level 3 Diploma Qualification in Pest Management Services Trained Professional User.

Outsource Support awarded Lantra pest management trained professional users accreditation

Lantra Awards  is an internationally recognised certification and proof of competence: accredited by the British Standards Institution (BSI), regulated by Ofqual and only one of two formal training recognised within the Irish framework of qualifications.
